Planetarium & Science Centre, Opened in 2001 with the backing of Sir Patrick Moore. Also includes science reference library & IT suite (including weather satellite and Faulkes Telescope facilities) to promote science and technology to schools and increase the public understanding of science. 96 seat dome as well as a new Lecture and Activity Hall which can seat 60.

Established Jan 1994 1st Multi-media mobile planetarium system in UK- Internet, computer graphics & DVD clips etc. We have 3 sizes of dome, entertain around 40,000 people a year from Infant to GCSE & A level astrophysics students. We can travel up to 150 miles from Kent up to 2 schools per day. We can incorporate other subjects in our shows such as the Greeks, Light & Sound & WWII or any other angle you may suggest. Over 100GB of material is available as well as models, geology samples & meteorites for the shows. We do not do rides, but interactive & entertaining lectures only.

The Observatory Science Centre is located in the former home of the Royal Greenwich Observatory, nestled in and around the domes at Herstmonceux. We do not have a static planetarium but we do have a Mobile Mirror Dome Planetarium the 'Cosmic Classroom'. It is 7m in diameter and 4.5m high and is principally used in our outreach programme to schools.
